We are currently working with a leading family group of companies. They are looking for a General Manager for their IT Services company.
The purpose of the role is to provide leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry. Develop strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. Oversee company operations to insure efficiency, quality, services, and cost effective management of resources. They are looking for a strong visionary person to make the technology vertical successful in Printing and Solutions, Spare parts Trading, Distribution and Service.
Develop a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives to generate revenue, profitability and organization growth.
Assess principal risks of the Company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and mitigated.
Oversee Company operations to ensure productivity efficiency, quality, service and cost–effective management of resources.
Develop, drive and conceive the strategy and transform those strategies into goals and objectives. Monitor the results against goals and refine the strategy as required.
Develop strong working relationship with prospective vendors/ customers; maintain the necessary contacts to keep abreast with the emerging issues of significance in the printing industry.
Identify and Develop new regions for business opportunities.
Identify and develop infrastructure to support the business needs and goals.
Ensure that expenditures of the Company are within the authorized annual budget of the Company.
Ensure the Company is appropriately organized and staffed and have right size employees as necessary to enable to achieve the strategy.
Establish and enforce the pricing policy to balance volumes, customer loyalty, and the cost of business.
Ensure the proper functions of the service department (after-sales) to cater to customer’s need.
Build a strong team of personnel that will drive the business forward and deliver the best levels of customer service.
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Technology
Successful candidate must have minimum 15 years’ of relevant experience, out of which 5 years in executive leadership role.
Must have previously managed P&L
Strong leadership and emotional intelligence skills, with demonstrated ability to others, influence organizational culture and provide strong direction.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the printing industry, laws and regulatory environment.
Proven history of driving strategic plans with proven track record of recognizing achievements.
