Our Client, a global leader corporation in smart security solutions, is currently looking for a new HR Director EMEA to join the team based in The Hague. They are a renowned multinational techno-company focused on cybersecurity and cloud solutions to ensure protection for SMEs worldwide.

Job Profile for HR Director

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • HR Operations

 

o   Designs, drives, maintains, supports and implements HR policies, programs and procedures and related activities (e.g. compensation and benefit annual reviews performance management process, employee relations, company handbook or site policies, etc.)

o   Supports all aspects of EMEA talent acquisition, including working with the recruitment team to implement processes and training materials for interviewers and hiring managers

o   Leads and supports activities designed to reinforce our client’s company culture and values

o   Owns end-to-end execution of functional HR work and builds effective coordination across local HR in the region and at sites

o   Prepares offer letters and employment contracts

o   Maintains HR record keeping

o   Manages onboarding, ensuring all local requirements are proactively met (contract and other documents signed and correctly filed, etc.)

o   Develops, updates and ensures compliance with the local policies

o   Represents HR on audits and inspections or due diligence activities 

 

  • HR Strategy and Talent Planning

 

o   Effectively diagnoses business issues and goals, turning these into an HR plan aligned with the business strategy

o   Works with senior leaders to optimise the organisational design and drive business performance

o   Takes a proactive role in the development of HR priorities and supports in the implementation of these and other major global/regional change programs as required

o   Drives and supports the regional/functional leadership team in the planning and budgeting activities needed to deliver the people strategy 

 

  • Change Management

 

o   Manages and advises on the people aspects of organisational change and transition, recommending process improvements (i.e. growth, reshaping, the transition of services/roles/people)

o   Coaches business leaders on how to engage employees and build people capability within their organisations

o   Actively consults and provides solutions related to workforce, talent, and organisational matters within region or function

o   Develops solutions based on the understanding of relevant business operations and strategic HR programs

o   Plans and implements HR programs for regions or functions in priority order 

 

  • Other ad hoc duties and projects

 

Candidate Profile for HR Director

 

  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Master’s degree is preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience, including knowledge about the labour environment in EMEA

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience

  • Good understanding of Finance and Business practices (both in and out of the HR function)

  • Strong communicative and interpersonal skills, able to interact positively and successfully with all levels of the company

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word) and database applications

  • Proven ability to adapt to a constantly changing and decentralised environment

  • Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively juggle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and moderate to fast-paced deadlines

  • Able to coach, lead others and collaborate cross-functionally

  • Team-oriented, self-starter, able to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction and follow-up on own initiatives
